I don't know why they decided hotel guests don't need ice, but they did. The TV is hilariously small for these days, maybe it worked in the 90's. Its really noticeable in some rooms, with furniture actually broken or breaking.
If you're planning a gambling trip I do not recommend coming on weeknights. The casino entirely shuts down super early on weeknights. If you're there for more than a couple days, that becomes a problem. Negatives: There is no housekeeping during your stay. Nice view if you get on the upper floors. This is also one of the few casinos in the area states that still operates a buffet. Hotel rates in Duluth will make you vomit. Positives: This is a good place to stay if you're in the Duluth area and need a base to operate from. The prices they charge now are way too sky high for what the rooms actually they renovate the place I'm sure they'll double or more the rates to get in line with other modern casinos.
